Dysport® is the anti-wrinkle product we use most at The Face. Here's what it is, how it compares with Botox and Relfydess, and what to expect, so you can make an informed choice at your free consultation.

What is Dysport?
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is a botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle injection. It gently relaxes the muscle movement that creases the skin, so lines soften while you can still smile, frown and look like yourself.
We use Dysport® for most of our anti-wrinkle clients because of its soft, natural-looking finish.
What it's used for
- Frown lines between the brows
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Crow's feet around the eyes
Other areas are discussed at your consultation, and only where the product is approved for that use.
Dysport or Botox?
Both are botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle injections that work the same way, from different makers. Botox is a brand name, so people often use it to mean any anti-wrinkle injection. Units aren't the same between brands, so you can't compare prices unit for unit. We'll recommend the right number of units for you.
Dysport or Relfydess?
We also offer Relfydess®, which comes ready-mixed as a liquid. Which one suits you depends on your goals, and we'll talk it through honestly at your free consultation.
What to expect
We start with a free consultation to look at how your face moves and what's bothering you. The treatment itself is quick, using a very fine needle, and most people describe it as a small pinch.
There's no downtime, but please avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. You'll start to notice softening within a few days, and the full result takes about 14 days, so book at least two weeks before an event.
Pricing
Dysport® is from $5.50 per unit, with a minimum of 20 units. We'll recommend the number of units at your consultation. See all anti-wrinkle pricing.
