Rejuran Christchurch: Polynucleotide Skin Regeneration

Rejuran is one of the most advanced skin regeneration treatments available, and one of the most effective for improving skin quality at a cellular level. Originally developed in South Korea and now available in Christchurch at The Face, Rejuran works by stimulating your skin's own repair and collagen production processes from within, delivering lasting improvements in skin texture, firmness, hydration, and overall health.
At The Face, Rejuran is available via traditional manual injection or using the Dermashine device, a precision mesotherapy injector that delivers the treatment significantly more comfortably than manual needling alone.
What Is Rejuran?
Rejuran (also known as Rejuran Healer or PN therapy) is a polynucleotide-based injectable treatment derived from highly purified salmon DNA. Polynucleotides (PN) are bio-molecules with a remarkable ability to stimulate cellular regeneration, repair damaged tissue, and activate the skin's natural healing processes.Unlike dermal fillers, which add volume, or skin boosters, which primarily hydrate, Rejuran works at a deeper level, repairing and rebuilding the skin's structural foundation from within. The result is skin that looks and functions healthier over time, not just immediately after treatment.
How Does Rejuran Work?
Rejuran is injected into the dermis, the middle layer of the skin where collagen fibres, elastin, and fibroblasts live. Once placed, the polynucleotides activate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, repair damaged tissue, and improve the overall skin environment at a cellular level.Because Rejuran works with your skin's own biological repair mechanisms, results develop progressively and naturally over several weeks, and continue to improve with each session in a course of treatment.
What Can Rejuran Treat?
Rejuran is suitable for a wide range of skin concerns and is particularly effective for:
- Fine lines and surface wrinkles
- Loss of skin firmness and elasticity
- Dull, dehydrated, or tired-looking skin
- Acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
- Uneven skin texture and tone
- Thin or crepey skin, including the under-eye area
- Overall skin quality and long-term skin health
Manual Injection vs Dermashine: What's the Difference?
At The Face, we offers two delivery methods for Rejuran. The right option depends on your skin concerns, comfort preferences, and treatment goals.
Manual Injection
The traditional method of Rejuran delivery. Precise, targeted placement using a fine needle directly into the dermis. Manual injection allows Georgia to focus on specific areas of concern with maximum accuracy and control. It is the most clinically established method and is ideal for targeted treatment of fine lines, scarring, or specific areas requiring precise placement.
Dermashine
The Dermashine is a precision mesotherapy injector device that delivers Rejuran into the dermis using a multi-needle head, distributing the product evenly across a larger area in a controlled, consistent pattern. Because the needles are finer and the delivery is more uniform, the Dermashine method is significantly more comfortable than manual injection, making it an excellent option for clients who are sensitive to pain or want to treat larger areas like the full face or neck more efficiently. Both methods deliver the same high-quality Rejuran product.
Is Rejuran Painful?
We'll be upfront with you, some clients find Rejuran a little more uncomfortable than their usual anti-wrinkle or filler appointments. That's completely normal given where the product is placed. Topical numbing cream is applied before every treatment, and the option of Dermashine delivery significantly reduces discomfort compared to traditional manual injection for clients who prefer a more comfortable experience. Most clients find the treatment very manageable, especially with numbing in place.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your Rejuran treatment at The Face begins with a consultation where we will assess your skin, discuss your goals, and recommend the right delivery method and treatment plan for you. Treatment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Following treatment, you may notice small bumps or mild redness at the injection sites, this is completely normal and typically settles within 24 to 48 hours. Results begin to appear within 7 to 14 days as the skin starts to repair and regenerate, with progressive improvement continuing over the following weeks.
